Our weekly workshops are 2hr sessions for in-depth study of the practice. If you attend yoga classes regularly, and you’ve established a home practice, step it up a notch with a yoga workshop, it can offer tools and experiences beyond those usually included in a typical class because every body is different and the teacher will have more one on one time with students to deepeen your practice.
Posture Clinic – is for those students who wish to take their yoga practice to a deeper level, you’ll receive specific and personalized modifications including hands-on alignment corrections. Breathing patterns are deconstructed and techniques are offered to help the student acquire a deeper understanding of postures in order to help execute them.
Acro Yoga – combines the dynamic wisdom of acrobatics, the awareness, breath and balance of yoga. It cultivates trust and community – working with one or more partners these three disciplines are fused into spectacular sequences of inversions, flows and balances.
Yin Yoga – targets the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body that normally are not exercised very much in a more active style of asana practice. Yin yoga postures are typically held for long periods of time than an active practice (3- 10 minutes). Vanessa also adds sound meditation and a yoga nidra to the session.
