A beginner Vinyasa class is usually slow paced, geared towards those new to yoga or preferring a slightly gentler class. Time is spent breaking down sun salutations and other poses fundamental to a Vinyasa practice. Props and modifications offered for proper alignment and ease in the postures.
In an All levels Vinyasa class you mindfully integrate movement and breath, aimed at the seasoned beginner who has some experience and intermediate practitioners who are ready to expand their yoga practice. These classes begin to encourage practitioners to explore getting upside-down and may incorporate some arm/leg balances and deeper backbends. We recommend that students seeking to take these classes feel confident, safe, and strong throughout classic sun salutations.
Core & Restore is also a vinyasa class – Strength emanates from the core outwards; create strength in this class so you can flow with grace and ease in your yoga practice. Be prepared to generate heat through asana, pranayama, and deep restorative poses. We recommend that students seeking to take these classes feel confident, safe, and strong throughout classic sun salutations. If you’re new to yoga try a beginner Vinyasa class first.
